The TRADITION PARTY in San Antonio de Areco is the oldest Creole celebration in the country (since 1939). For the visitor of La Sofía and San Antonio de Areco, the different events that revive the Creole customs are unmissable. The Day of the Tradition is celebrated like in any other place. Every year, at the beginning of November, the Fiesta de la Tradición is celebrated with domes, horse shows, exhibitions, bailecitos and the traditional parade of gauchos on horseback both from Arequeros and from neighboring towns.
